When love walks away from you, loneliness is holding the door for them, waiting for their turn to come inside.
I was cleaning the studio, trying to occupy my mind and keep the depression at bay, trying to silence the voices in my head. The building is very old, around 100 years, so it is very dusty and dirty. My face and arms were covered in a fine powder that was streaked from my sweat and tears.

This really is a great shot. I love the tonal range and lighting. It has an interesting gritty feel to it. The setting highlights the feeling of vulnerability.
