Camera is in it's new home...

It got here a few minutes ago, man this sucker is solid and heavy and the view finder is HUGE, exactly what I wanted and needed. Now I have to find some extra batteries along with a few other items, but over all I am ready to start getting some practice using this monster.

All kinds of new buttons to learn, I will have to go pick up a cheap 'Getting to Know Your EOS-1 D Mark II' book, but not today, the last few days have been off the charts pain wise, I mean bad bad bad. So I am going back to the couch for now after I pop a few pills.

Thanks again to ^cosfrog for selling me one of his backup bodies at a great price.

Congratulations on your new camera purchase! Wow those are nice. Not that it's anywhere near as great as your new Canon but I just ordered a Nikon D60, so I sort of know the feeling. It's probably proportionate if you get my drift.

He heard the delivery truck coming from up the street and practically jumped off the couch and out the front door to take the box. haha.

I must thank you for the box you sent it in. It was just the right size for the stuff I needed to send my brother.
