This is a great example of how sad the United States is concerning it's citizens health care, if this young woman was in Canada, France or the UK this would not be happening.

I have read several journals about this brave and beautiful young model who needs help. If you aren't already familiar with her, go to *Vispir's page and look at her work and read her journals. Her own words explain the situation better than I ever could. Bottom line is *Vispir is seriously ill, has no insurance, and requires expensive medical treatment.



This actually infuriates me to no end, people do not seek treatment because they cannot afford it, people die because they have no insurance or not enough insurance. I have seen how the system works first hand, I have seen things you would not believe to be true and they were all in the name of money. Seriously if you can drop by her page, give it a read and help her out if you can and yes I will be doing so myself.

Some personal news, next week I go for my six month blood test and while I am talking to Dr. Hilaly I am going to ask her about getting my sinus surgery done. I have enough pain to deal with as it is now and I can do something about my sinus pain (and snoring), so I decided I have put it off long enough. I watched my daughter go through this surgery and it's recovery, always thought she was a braver soul than I after that one. It worked wonders for her so she could do her deep water dive, along with feeling like she had a new set of lungs when it all healed. It will help my bike riding as well....speaking of bike riding.....

I plan on getting the bike out next week, the weather is finally into full spring mode, so I can get about three weeks of riding in before summer starts. I miss it so much, but I am not looking forward to the added pain since I am starting from square one again.

Tomorrow I am off to the studio, for a shoot and to have a sit down with Tim and Tom in order to get everything straightened out hopefully. Amber is going to bring Lola over, she is one of the dogs that is on a long term boarding situation. The owners are military and are currently doing tours in Iraq until July it seems, we are all hoping they make it home safe and can get Lola back to a real home again. At this point she has spent more time with the people at Camp Bow Wow than with her owners.
