Studio News:

Found out over the weekend that we will be getting a new wall, a bit more space and A/C in the new studio. Seems one of the other local places for artists to rent space not only has no ability to even add a window unit, but no way to get fresh air into the spaces either. These rooms are at the Lemp Brewery in St. Louis, an old brick building that has become an oven with the heat and humidity here in the mid-west. This problem forced about six artists to move out and come to the Koken Art Factory, otherwise known as the building where my studio is located.

I was going to find a way to purchase an in room A/C unit (about $400.00) for my studio, won't need to now though. I will be stopping into the studio this weekend and hope to get an ETA on this new development. This is something I have been hoping would happen sooner or later. I will feel a lot better about scheduling shoots at this time of year, once we have the A/C up and running.
