How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

So I am going to be working on an image for a client and she wants me to reproduce a Luis Royo - this one to be ore exact Fallen Angel.

Now I can use pre-made backgrounds, do some photo editing and create it out of stock or ask any of you if you would be interested in donating a rendered background for me. I say donate because this lady is not being charged enough for this piece to warrant me being able to pay anyone.

I am hoping to be able to offer more of these to clients, this one just kind of fell out of the sky on us. If I know I have a couple of you to rely on, then I can charge proper and get more work for all involved. Not just Fantasy stuff either, would like to not only get into COS Play, but be able to offer some of it for kids photos, dancers...whomever.

Feel free to comment here or send me a note...I know I have friends that do this for a living, but you are busy

As long as the copyright stays on the image it is totally fine. This one has not been edited to have the copyright removed so it is good, but thank you for letting me know. I have all but given up trying to control that image, it was becoming a full time job. I would send at least 100 links a week to Photobucket alone.

If I was a bit more familiar with Vue I would offer to do something. Alas, I'm not. I've got some "floating islands" that could give you a similar sort of effect, what I could offer is rendering a couple from different angles with neutral light so you can manipulate them in Photoshop and add the lighting as necessary. Would that work?

Somehow when I click on it, it says 403 - forbidden and the url changes to "?blocked".
Is there something wrong with the link enough for the dA staff to block it (like the journal exploit) or am I being bugged?
