The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

What I'm looking for:
Everything! Wolves, foxes, fennec foxes, ferrets, servals, bobcats, tigers, other big cats, small cats, deers, dragons, gryphons, dogs, birds, hybrids, original species.. bring it!
I'm leaving the details to your imagination, but here are some things I really like:
-White base color with black and red markings<33 (mostly on canines)
-Cute and fluffy things! No need to go all big eyes and oversized heads, but animals with fur. Creepy and slimy things just aren't my thing.. Still don't be afraid to make something dark/evil
-Anything tribal
-Native american stuff
-Feathers!
-Tawny, golden, brown, white, red, blue, cyan, gray, black (well, not all combined)
-I like more natural base colors, but with smaller markings in unnatural colors like blue or red
-Long tails, big/long

Callibrate your Wacom tutorialHad you finally made the transition from intuos 3 to intuos 4?, or Are you rich to change into an intuos 5? Had you made the transition from a first generation cintiq to the new ones?. More levels of pressure will mean more quality to the paintings, am i right?.
Did you thought that by default the pen will it be like using butter on bread?, you try it for the first time and you love all of it, you said i have sooooooo much control on my strokes im having a blast. This is the perfect example for what I have been bitching about - [link]?

Not one single image in this users gallery - [link] - belong to them and they freely admit this on each image.

So now deviantART gets to make money off any print sales, as well as the traffic this sort of crap brings to the website. This person then gets to collect any profits as well, all off the back of someone else.

Porn site images, works of other artists right here on deviantART, random photos from Facebook, over and over and over it's the same thing.

Get your shit together DA! The DMCA does not apply when someone freely admits they did not create the image. User that are constantly removing images instead of providing a model release are admitting guilt by their actions. These people need to be BANNED, yet not one single thing has happened to a single one of these losers.

"photo editing artist"? give me a fucking break. That's theft, pure and simple. It isn't like they're doing collaboration with a known artist, or even that they bought (or used) stock provided specifically for editing. I can't understand why DA suddenly doesn't want to do what it should.

Anyone that has this to say about the work they are stealing..

"I love doing Bodyscapes. You take a full size, color pic that is just of another nameless model and you can crop it, enhance it, and turn it into something interesting. I like that <3"

....another nameless model...does not care at all about the fact they are breaking copyright law and their WHOLE gallery is of other peoples work.

This has been going on for months. I have at least ten of them, nothing has been done, images won't be removed unless the ORIGINAL artist complains I have been told. The fact they can be provided with proof the image does not belong to the user seems to make no difference.
