So today I turn 44, this number has been a very important part of my life for many years. The house I have spent the most time living in is number 44. Over the years this number has always been a part of my life in one way or another. To my ex-wife Kelly and I it HAUNTED us for years, all the way from High School and even made an appearance on my daughters Marriage Licensee. I did have something big planned for this day about six months ago, nobody knew about it, in fact I told the first person yesterday. Well those plans won't be going through now and it seems that is a very good thing.
Honestly I can say in hind sight it IS an extremely good thing.
I hope this is a good year, the last one has had it's ups and downs, but for me it will always be the year my daughter married John and that is a wonderful thing to have happen. Even though it happened before I turned 44, it still happened in the year I turned 44
So thank you all for the Birthday Wishes I have already gotten and an early thank you to those of you that will be wishing me a happy birthday today. All wishes for happiness are always welcome and at times very much needed.
Studio is still planned to be started next month, unless we get fucked on the space for some reason. Once the keys are in hand we will start construction on a few items, do some painting and get things moving within the first two weeks of October. My heart still wants me to get in a car, get on my bike or just put my feet to the pavement and go, camera in tow. I still plan on doing something involving me going to several locals, meeting models or fellow/budding photographers and spend a few days learning or teaching or creating in each place I stop. This will happen after the first of the year, I want to get this studio up and moving first. I have other ideas in the works as well, more on them as things progress.
