Why do people insist on trying to portray themselves as someone they are not on deviantART?
Why when they get caught red-handed do they think hiding a comment PROVING their work is not their own, do they continue to play innocent.
Posting work that does not belong to you is fairly stupid and very easy to prove. When someone posts an image that you can find at a dozen other websites, under different names (model and/or photographer), that is just plain stupidity.
Let me introduce you all to TinEye.com -

What is TinEye you say?
TinEye is a reverse image search engine. You can submit an image to TinEye to find out where it came from, how it is being used, if modified versions of the image exist, or to find higher resolution versions. TinEye is the first image search engine on the web to use image identification technology rather than keywords, metadata or watermarks. It is also a very easy way to track down liars, cheats, scumbags, assholes, idiots and nerf hurders.

On a different note, this next weekend is Naughti-Gras time once again. Both Amber and myself have pieces in this years show. So if you are in the St. Louis area stop by with $5.00 in hand and enjoy some drinks, lots and lots of live entertainment, along with some great 'Naughti' art from area artists.

It would be good to have a feature that when you find someone ripping your work, a hand could reach out of the person's screen and bitch-slap them to death. I would pay for that kind of service.
WARNING: I did notice the search didnt show anything from facebook and myspace. I know this because i have found and am fighting a few people on myspace that have stolen my work and yet got no results back from Tineye, not even from my OWN page, where i know they reside....
